20 tip of being successful

Sunday, 15 August 2010
Everyone wants to be successful. Here I am presenting 20 tips which must be followed to be successful in life, just have a look:

-> First thing, which should be kept in mind is, happiness-sorrow, success-failure is not created by god; only we are responsible for our success or failure.

-> What hinders success from coming is not the lack of knowledge but the inactivity/laziness on out part.

-> Loosing self-confidence is the biggest loss as far as achieving success is concerned.

-> If you want to become everything, you will become nothing. A jack of all is least supposed to be successful; you have to be master of one at least.

-> Daily give 10% of your time to recap what you did whole day/week so that you may learn from your and others mistakes and you may strengthen your plus points.

-> The reason of anger might be very little but its results might be too dangerous to be thought upon. Anger of just moment can destroy your whole life. So, try to avoid anger and outbursts, at least in public.

-> You must praise others in front of all, but should only criticize in person.

-> You must develop an art by which you can say certain things in an affirmative way even though you are not in favor. Say, if you want to say that you are wrong, so might say that although you are right mostly but you are not that much right this time, avoiding the word “wrong” creates a different impression and it also negates the possibility of disputes.

-> If you want progress, learn from the past and always be hopeful for a better future.

-> A direct communication is the best medium to retain friends and customers.

-> A ship is safer on the harbor but they are not meant for it. Risks are part of life and must be taken on a calculated basis. Those who cannot take risks are best for 9 to 5 jobs only.

-> A person can become great with his polite nature.

-> The ratio of hard work to destiny is 70:30, so more hard/smart work more chances of being successful.

-> The target of education is not only to impart knowledge but also to make one practical and social.

-> Ability to talk in public is a short cut to success in many ventures.

-> To bow and be polite is the quality of a successful person, to be stiff is quality of a dead person.

-> Unity of persons at a workplace is one of the main reasons of the success of the venture.

-> One who is satisfied with what he has and is always looking for what he wants is the happiest person.

-> Positive thinking and viewpoint are a must for success, creating positive energy and environment at your home and workplace is a must for peaceful and successful life.

-> Money is not the only factor for counting success; being successful means you are satisfied and living peacefully with your dear ones, remember money can bring you gadgets but not happiness.

The 10 network marketing frustrations by Tracey E Mitchell

Being in the network marketing industry can be very rewarding if your are successful. Building your business can be very frustrating as you make your climb to the top. Below are the top 10 frustrations faced by all of us in network marketing.

1. No One To Talk To- You have already exausted your warm market list or friends and family. This is the first place that your upline sponsor tells you to go. This is not the greatest idea all the time because you don’t want to alienate your friends and family. Also, most of your friends and family are not qualified to go into business for themselves anyway. You need to have a way to attract people that are looking for an opportunity.

2. No Money To Market Your Business – In order to be successful in network marketing you have to be able to advertise your business and this takes money. Because of this, new marketers begin to spend more money than they are actually making and they tend to drop out of business because of this.

3. Don’t Know How To Market – Many network marketers know how to network but they don’t know how to market. It’s called network marketing not network networking. You need to find a way to learn how to market your business if you want to be successful.

4. Your Autoship Has Just Become Another Bill – It takes time to build up a residual income in network marketing and when you are paying $100 a month and receiving little to nothing for it it becomes frustrating.

5. No Upline Support – Your upline swears that they are going to help you but once they sign up they are no where to be found.

6. Constantly Having To Recruit – Becausee it’s hare for a new recruit to make money in network marketing they tend to drop out after 60-90 days so you are constantly recruiting to fill the holes in your downline.

7. Not Enough Quality Leads – Lead Generation is the life blood of your network marketing business, but buying leads is not the answer. You must learn to generate your own highly targeted leads.

8. Credibility – When you first start out in network marketing you have to build up your credibility. People don’t want to follow anyone who has no experience.

9. Duplication – Once you recruit people into your organization they don’t know how to duplicate your efforts. They just sign up and don’t do any work.

10. No Way To Follow Up – The old philosophy in network marketing is “Some will. Some won’t. So what. So Next.” If you have an autoresponder you can keep in touch with the prospects that don’t join your business. You would still be able to send them information about your company and/or products & services even though they said no to your primary opportunity.

In order to solve all of these frustrations you need to have a system in place that will provide training for you and that shows how to use the internet to market your network marketing business. There are may systems out there but you want to choose the one that brands you as a leader. Having a system in place can be the difference in being successful or failing in your network marketing business.

Short On Funds? – A Funded Proposal Could be the Answer
Jul20
Uncategorized
What is a Funded Proposal? A funded proposal concept is based on charging your prospects for a low priced front end product or service. In the internet marketing world this could be an e-book or software that will help your prospects in their online business. There are three main benefits to having a funded proposal: Up front capital to help you build your business, Downline Retention, and the ability to build a list of highly qualified leads.

Believe it or not, 95-97% of the people that you speak to are not going to join your primary business. You need a way to profit from the prospects that tell you no. By offering your own product or by promoting an affiliate product, you can earn upfront capital to build your primary business. You can also begin to stop spending more money than you are actually making.

Having a funded proposal will also help you to maintain your downline. If you can help show your downline a way to get into profit quickly then they can afford to stay in your organization longer than the typical 60-90 days. Therefore, you can spend more time training your reps to duplicate your efforts instead of constantly recruiting to try to replace the reps that are dropping out of your organization.

A funded proposal can also help you build a list of qualified leads. Once a person buys your product or service, they become part of your list. They began to view you as a leader because you recommended a quality product to them that is helping them in their business. Because of this they are more likely to buy what you recommend in the future or maybe even join your primary opportunity.

Well now you may be wondering how to set up a funded proposal. You don’t have to necessarily do it yourself. There are many marketing systems available. Make sure that you join a system that already has the funded proposal in place. Also, make sure that the system that you join brands you as a leader. You also want to look at the other members of the system. You want to be in the company of people that are on top of their game. You want to able to network with people who are having the kind of success that you want to have. You also want to join a system that is duplicatable – this one of the keys to building a successful network marketing business.

A funded proposal is not intended to become a revenue stream but it can be. Especially if your funded proposal system has multiple affiliate products that you can earn money from. If you are a newbie to network marketing or even if you are not new and are struggling in network marketing, a funded proposal can mean the difference between surviving or failing in network marketing. A funded proposal is a key factor in helping you stay afloat while you are building your business.

The Four Phases of Design Thinking

Saturday, 31 July 2010
What can people in business learn from studying the ways successful designers solve problems and innovate? On the most basic level, they can learn to question, care, connect, and commit—four of the most important things successful designers do to achieve significant breakthroughs.

Having studied more than a hundred top designers in various fields over the past couple of years (while doing research for a book), I found that there were a few shared behaviors that seemed to be almost second nature to many designers. And these ingrained habits were intrinsically linked to the designer's ability to bring original ideas into the world as successful innovations. All of which suggests that they merit a closer look.

Question. If you spend any time around designers, you quickly discover this about them: They ask, and raise, a lot of questions. Often this is the starting point in the design process, and it can have a profound influence on everything that follows. Many of the designers I studied, from Bruce Mau to Richard Saul Wurman to Paula Scher, talked about the importance of asking "stupid questions"—the ones that challenge the existing realities and assumptions in a given industry or sector. The persistent tendency of designers to do this is captured in the joke designers tell about themselves. How many designers does it take to change a light bulb? Answer: Does it have to be a light bulb?

In a business setting, asking basic "why" questions can make the questioner seem naïve while putting others on the defensive (as in, "What do you mean 'Why are we doing it this way?' We've been doing it this way for 22 years!"). But by encouraging people to step back and reconsider old problems or entrenched practices, the designer can begin to re-frame the challenge at hand—which can then steer thinking in new directions. For business in today's volatile marketplace, the ability to question and rethink basic fundamentals—What business are we really in? What do today's consumers actually need or expect from us?—has never been more important.

Care. It's easy for companies to say they care about customer needs. But to really empathize, you have to be willing to do what many of the best designers do: step out of the corporate bubble and actually immerse yourself in the daily lives of people you're trying to serve. What impressed me about design researchers such as Jane Fulton Suri of IDEO was the dedication to really observing and paying close attention to people—because this is usually the best way to ferret out their deep, unarticulated needs. Focus groups and questionnaires don't cut it; designers know that you must care enough to actually be present in people's lives.

Connect. Designers, I discovered, have a knack for synthesizing--for taking existing elements or ideas and mashing them together in fresh new ways. This can be a valuable shortcut to innovation because it means you don't necessarily have to invent from scratch. By coming up with "smart recombinations" (to use a term coined by the designer John Thackara), Apple has produced some of its most successful hybrid products; and Nike smartly combining a running shoe with an iPod to produce its groundbreaking Nike Plus line (which enables users to program their runs). It isn't easy to come up with these great combos. Designers know that you must "think laterally"—searching far and wide for ideas and influences—and must also be willing to try connecting ideas that might not seem to go together. This is a way of thinking that can also be embraced by non-designers.

Commit. It's one thing to dream up original ideas. But designers quickly take those ideas beyond the realm of imagination by giving form to them. Whether it's a napkin sketch, a prototype carved from foam rubber, or a digital mock-up, the quick-and-rough models that designers constantly create are a critical component of innovation —because when you give form to an idea, you begin to make it real.

But it's also true that when you commit to an idea early—putting it out into the world while it's still young and imperfect—you increase the possibility of short-term failure. Designers tend to be much more comfortable with this risk than most of us. They know that innovation often involves an iterative process with setbacks along the way—and those small failures are actually useful because they show the designer what works and what needs fixing. The designer's ability to "fail forward" is a particularly valuable quality in times of dynamic change. Today, many companies find themselves operating in a test-and-learn business environment that requires rapid prototyping. Which is just one more reason to pay attention to the people who've been conducting their work this way all along.

Accountability for Green Economy

Wednesday, 14 July 2010
Accountability is a key element of business as it charts the growth of a business and then offers solutions on how the future should be. From an environmental perspective it looks at novel ideas relating to pressing issues like climate change, research and innovation into greener ways of managing the world's resources. This accountability should encompass the globe and not apply to only the top economies of the world. The developing nations and their "infant" economies have to be protected from all forms of exploitation from within and without. Union carbide in India and BP Oil Sleek in Louisiana attest the need for accountability. Accountability should espouse engagement, explanation and clarity of expectation- as propounded by Chan and Renee as the key elements of Fair Process.
-Engagement where individuals are involved in strategic decision making
-Explanation where everyone involved and affected should understand why final strategic decisions are made as they are.
-Clarity of Expectation where managers clearly state the rules of the game after a strategy is set.
